CultivateCI Earns Spot in SVG Ventures|THRIVE 2023 Academy II Cohort
Calgary, AB, Feb 23, 2023: We are pleased to announce that CultivateCI has been selected to participate in the the THRIVE Academy II global cohort. Our company is one of only 15 chosen from around the world to take part in the twelve-week program designed to support early-stage companies accelerate growth in the Agrifood-tech industry.
SVG Ventures|THRIVE created the THRIVE Academy, a multi-month program designed to support early-stage Agrifood-tech entrepreneurs, to help provide new companies with a solid foundation for future growth by helping them validate their ideas. The Academy leverages the award-winning and globally focused programming suite of SVG Ventures|THRIVE, which has been successful in supporting agrifood innovation around the world. The THRIVE Academy is aimed at meeting the needs of early-stage agrifood tech entrepreneurs and helping them scale further and faster.
The THRIVE Academy is a 12-week agrifood pre-accelerator program offering both in-person and virtual programming. With access to corporate mentors from THRIVE's extensive network, entrepreneurs receive tailored guidance and advice throughout the program.

The cohort is bringing new technology solutions across crop production, carbon sequestration, water management and beyond. The Alberta based program hosts a number of local representation with 8 of the 15 companies selected for the program hailing from Alberta, Canada, with the remainder coming from across Canada and various locations worldwide, including the United States, Sweden, Germany and Argentina.
The THRIVE Academy is made possible by funding from the Alberta Scaleup and Growth Accelerator Program led and managed by Alberta Innovates. SVG Ventures|Thrive activities in Alberta are co-funded by a consortium that includes the Alberta Ministry of Jobs, Economy and Innovation, Alberta Innovates, Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan), and Olds College.
